Dana at MADE has a tutorial for reusable grocery totes made from fused together plastic grocery sacks. These are my versions of the plastic totes. It's an awesome idea and takes reusing to a whole new level.

ReplyDeleteWow.... awesomeness! How long did it take for you to make one? I don't have a sewing machine (yet) so I couldn't do crafts that involve a machine :(
ReplyDeleteI don't know...I made all four at the same time but I had to spread it over several days. I think it took longer than I thought it would. I also had to serge the edges and it was one of the first things I did with my serger and I had to keep rethreading it. That was tricky.
